Tom Bertonneau, who teaches English at SUNY Oswego, earned his Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the Program in Comparative Literature, UCLA. in 1990. He is the author of three books - most recently The Truth is Out There (with Kim Paffenroth), a study of the religious dimension of science fiction. He has published over fifty scholarly articles and much journalism, and is a regular contributor to Anthropoetics, Praesidium, Modern Age, Intercollegiate Review, and The University Bookman.
